Paris, 11th October 2006 (MOREL)- Rotana Audio Visual (Rotana), the world´s largest producer and distributor of Arabic music, movies and broadcaster of premium TV channels, has signed a TV distribution agreement worth in excess of Euros 21 million with A.C.K.S BV (ACKS) of the Netherlands. ACKS is a leading company providing international media organizations with powerful pan-European network coverage.
The deal provides ACKS with access to broadcast Rotana´s TV channels throughout Europe, utilizing the latest IP technology and delivering the best of Arabic entertainment throughout Europe to enrich the customer home entertainment experience.
Commenting on the deal, Chairman of The Board of Rotana, His Royal Highness Prince Al Waleed Bin Talal, said: "We continue to build Rotana into a world class organization providing the best of Arabic entertainment worldwide."
